Required Tools:
-Cutting Device (coping saw recommended)
-Superglue (Recommended Loctite Super Glue Ultra Gel Control or Loctite Super Pro Gel for alpine applications)
-Pick
-Clamp
-Pliers/Vise-grips
-Sandpaper
BEFORE YOU START INSTALL, READ THIS!!
USING THE PICK TO LEVER ON THE CABLE CATCH WILL BREAK IT! ONLY APPLY INWARD AND DOWNWARD FORCE WHEN CONNECTING WIRES!
Instructions for C4/UL/WC Trigger Bar:
-Cut off and remove old trigger bar; recommended to cut through the old trigger roughly 1/2 of the way through the material and then snap at cut to remove
-Apply superglue to all trigger mating surfaces
-Mate sides and hold in place until initial bond is complete
-Lightly clamp sides together and allow glue to fully cure for 12-24 hours at a minimum ambient temperature of 50F
-After cured, remove clamp and apply superglue to all external mating seams
-Once dry, sand glue flush to trigger surfaces
-Attach trigger cables using a pick
Additional Instructions for BD 4/5/6 Trigger Bar:
-Attach trigger keeper wires from original trigger
NOTE: BD WIRE DESIGN IS NOT MIRRORED, WHEREAS INFRARED DESIGN IS. ONE KEEPER WIRE WILL GO ON AND WORK WITHOUT MODIFICATION. THE OTHER SIDE MUST BE BENT TO THE MIRROR THE ORIGINAL SIMILAR GEOMETRY.
Instructions for Totem Trigger Bar:
-Cut off and remove old trigger bar
-Loop trigger wires around trigger bar
-Apply superglue to all trigger mating surfaces
-Mate sides and hold in place until intial bond is complete
-Lightly clamp sides together and allow glue to fully dry
-After dry, remove clamp and apply superglue to all external mating seams
-Once dry, sand glue flush to trigger surfaces
Instructions for C3 Trigger Bar:
-Cut off and remove old trigger bar
-Apply superglue to all trigger mating surfaces
-Mate sides around stem and wires and hold in place until intial bond is complete
-Lightly clamp sides together and allow glue to fully dry
-After dry, remove clamp and apply superglue to all external mating seams
-Once dry, sand glue flush to trigger surfaces
